Stelios Kerasidis

Stelios started at The Purcell School in Year 8 in September 2024. He lives in Greece and started playing
piano at the age of five. His previous teacher, Margrit Zimmerman, describes Stelios as being “an extremely
gifted boy” who “performs with his own artistic expression”, as well as being a “very talented composer.”

He received the 2022 World Music Prize Giouseppe Sciacca, during the ceremony that took place in the Lecture Hall of the Pontifical University in the Vatican City, Rome.

Stelios has performed both at Carnegie Hall, New York and the Royal Albert Hall, London.
